The first branded Frasers store launches in Wolverhampton

An exciting chapter in House of Fraser’s history occurred in April 2021 when the first branded Frasers store opened their doors in Wolverhampton. Taking the brand from their original name, this forms part of a wider retail strategy developed by Frasers Group who aim to push the boundaries with their innovative approach to investing in the high street.

The multi-fascia store spans 34,000 sq. ft and includes beauty, homeware offerings as well as fashion, premium and designer clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.

As well as being the first branded Frasers store, it is also the first store to include all the developed fascia’s under one roof. Luxury fashion chain Flannels and a new concept Sports Direct store (which houses USC, Game and Evans) also have separate entrances to allow the customer to feel like they are still getting an individual shopping experience.

“The Wolverhampton launch is a pivotal moment for the group as we open our first multi-fascia destination to feature a Frasers store.
We are committed to raising the bar retail and delivering aspirational stores with a focus on experience, brands and service, Frasers Wolverhampton demonstrates our dedication to, and our vision for, the brand’s future.”

Michael Murray – Frasers Group head of elevation.

The entrance stands out in the Mander Shopping centre with its sleek façade that leads into an impressive beauty department featuring over 120 brands on the ground floor such as Bobbi Brown, Benefit, Christian Dior, Nars and MAC.

Womenswear and Menswear are also featured in the store with separate sections including renowned menswear designer brands, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, CP company, The North Face and Barbour. Women’s brands include Michael Kors, DKNY Coach and Mario Valentino and Barbour too.

There are also dedicated areas for loungewear, denim, lingerie, and footwear for customers to have the full departmental shopping experience.

This is a big development for the brand and eb designs are very proud to be involved in the first store relaunch taking Frasers from its original roots and watching it evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the retail marketplace.
