London Fashion Week 2024

In collaboration with the British Fashion Council

EB Designs joined the British Fashion Council at London Fashion Week to celebrate the event's 40th anniversary.

The schedule of events showcased a mix of menswear and womenswear designers, with highlights including the BFC NEWGEN winners, iconic British luxury brand Burberry, as well 16 Arlington, David Koma, ERDEM, JW Anderson, Roksanda and many more.

The team kick started the day off with an invitation to the LFW opening breakfast at the Brasserie of Light set within Selfridges, London. The restaurant was designed by the acclaimed architect Martin Brudnizki, boasting vibrant, colourful, and sophisticated interiors that have been inspired by the Art Deco era. The opening breakfast provided a fantastic networking opportunity for the team to connect with members of the BFC community. The team also had the opportunity to meet new designers, which was incredibly inspiring, as they gained insight into their brands within the fashion industry.

After the opening breakfast the team headed across the street to the Old Selfridges Hotel to visit the NEWGEN shows with the BFC. The first show featured Masha Popova's collection. Masha Popova is a womenswear designer renowned for her wearable high-fashion denim designs that blend fantasy with her Ukrainian heritage and childhood memories.

The team then visited the following showcase highlighting Sinead O’Dwyer’s collection. Sinead O’Dwyer’s designs embodies a diverse range of feminine expression tailored to various body shapes and sizes.

The final show featured Chet Lo’s collection. Chet Lo is an Asian American designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins BA Knitwear course in 2020. His course sparked his passion for textiles and the boundless creativity and innovation knitwear can offer.

We want to thank Natalie Potter from the British Fashion Council for the kind invitation to the London Fashion Week events. The EB team had a wonderful time celebrating the best of British Fashion.
